Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Municipal Police were called to a vacant Playa del Carmen lot after the discovery of a body. A man who had stopped at the lot found the decomposing body of an adult male.
The finding was made Friday night off the side of the road in the Aviación neighborhood.
The driver had stopped at the intersection of Aviación Avenue and 45th Street when he saw the body.
Members of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) arrived to confirm the finding.
According to initial reports, the body had been there for several days did not show any visual signs of violence.
Police are looking into the possible natural death of a homeless man.
