Tulum, Q.R. — Police responding to the report of gunfire in Aldea Tulum arrived to find a dead taxi driver. It was around 2:00 a.m. when area residents notified police of the sound of the shots.
The taxi driver was found behind the wheel of his unit in the Aldea Tulum subdivision. Police were notified by a man on a motorcycle that he stopped to help the injured taxi driver, who he found had been shot several times.
Paramedics reported the man, now identified as Candelario N, was without any vital signs when they arrived. Reports say he was shot several times, mostly in the upper body.
