Tulum, Q.R. — Two dead and one injured was the result of a Friday night shooting in central Tulum. Police attending the scene reported the shooting starting outside the Straw Hat Hostel on Tulum Avenue and Centauro Street.
The bodies of two men were found laying on pubic sidewalks outside a bar after being removed from the Straw Hat Hostel and shot. Both men were found dead in front of La Barrita Mexcal nightclub.
A third person was shot and found injured. Police have not said if the third person was directly involved in the shootings that left two others dead.
Police were sent to Tulum Avenue where the shootings are reported to have happened after midnight. Several units of armed officers arrived and began to section off the areas where the two bodies were found.
Local authorities have not reported on the Tulum shootings.
