Tulum, Q.R. — Elements of the Secretariat of Public Security and Citizen Protection of Tulum have arrested three from the coastal area on drug charges. The two men and one woman were caught by police after they were spotted near a busy tourist area.
In a statement from the Municipal Security, an inspection revealed a variety of bags of narcotics that included marijuana and crack cocaine as well as pills. The three, Edgar N, Ari N and Monica N, all from Mexico City, were also found with a portable auto pay terminal.
All three were transferred to Playa del Carmen where they were processed.
