Tulum, Q.R. — State Police were at the scene of a Tulum restaurant shooting late Wednesday night after reports of gunfire. Emergency services were called to a centrally located restaurant at the intersection of Centauro Sur and Sol Poniente Street around 11:30 p.m. in response to shots fired inside the establishment.
At the scene, authorities found a dead male on the second floor of the restaurant. According to early information, he had been shot twice. Several calls to emergency 9-1-1 were made after the two detonations were heard during the targeted attack.
The shooting happened when two armed men entered the restaurant and took aim at the unnamed male, shooting him twice. He was hit in the head and neck and pronounced dead at the scene.
