Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A 50-year-old woman of Argentine nationality was found dead inside her Las Palmas home Wednesday afternoon after an apparent suicide.
The woman was discovered deceased inside her home in the Las Palmas I subdivision of Playa del Carmen days after being widowed.
Neighbors said the woman, who was a retired teacher, was found by them in the home. They called police who responded to the call. La Policía Municipal arrived at the Zanates Street address to tend to the incident.
According to the testimony of those who knew her, her husband died of natural causes a few days ago.
