Wilbert “N” was picked up by police on an outstanding arrest warrant by personnel from the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Sexual Offenses. He is facing charges of rape after having at least four sexual encounters with the teenager between April and May.
Police say the teenage female moved in with him while he was her teacher.

“During the aforementioned period, Wilbert “N” and the victim lived in a union comparable to that of a marriage. During that time, Wilbert “N” allegedly sexually abused the teenager, at least on four occasions, subjecting her to violence.
“The relationship between Wilbert “N” and the minor began when he was her teacher at a secondary school in Playa del Carmen,” they said.
