Tulum, Q.R. — Forensics are investigating the sudden death of a man inside a Tulum pharmacy. The man, reported only to be of foreign nationality, collapsed while inside the pharmacy Saturday night.
An ambulance was requested a the drug store on Tulum Avenue in the Centro neighborhood around 11:30 p.m. Responding paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Eye witnesses told police the man suddenly collapsed and fell to the floor. He was found still holding a plastic bottle in his hand at the time of his death.
The area was cordoned off police while the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) removed the man’s body from inside the pharmacy. An autopsy will determined the official cause of the man’s death.
