Tulum, Q.R. — Municipal police managed to capture a couple who were on board a stolen motorcycle, however, after a routine check, drugs and a weapon were also discovered.
The events were recorded in the Ejidal neighborhood on avenida Chun Yam Che of Tulum when they were stopped by police while riding the bike. After confirming the bike was reported stolen, police proceeded to arrest the pair.
A physical inspection of their persons however, revealed the male was carrying marijuana, a scale and ecstasy pills as well as a firearm. The 39-year-old woman who is originally from Yucatan, and the 21-year-old male from Veracruz, were taken into police custody.
