Tulum, Q.R. — Police are investigating the death of a woman who was found dead inside a Tulum hotel. The unnamed woman was found Thursday morning by staff inside her coastal area hotel room.
After failed attempts to wake her, staff called police reporting an unresponsive guest.
Agents from the Quintana Roo State Attorney General (FGE) arrived at the hotel in response to the finding.
According to local media, the woman was found dead inside her room at the Kanan Tulum Hotel and Spa.
Paramedics confirmed she was dead inside the room. According to early information, police are investigating a possible overdose as a cause of death.
