Tulum, Q.R. — A rooftop party with dozens of attendees was shut down in Tulum over the weekend. The party was being hosted by a hostel in the Huracanes neighborhood. Officers from the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS) attended the scene after receiving several citizen complaints.
When they arrived, officials found dozens of people on the rooftop of Charly. With the support of police and elements of the National Guard, partygoers were evicted and t he hostel shut for violating the state’s current covid health protocols.
