Tulum, Q.R. — Derived from joint actions to inhibit high-impact crimes, state authorities have arrested nine for dealing in Tulum. On Monday, the State Attorney General’s Office, in close coordination with the Secretary of Citizen Security, the Municipal Police of Tulum and the Secretary of the Navy, carried out operations in Tulum resulting in the nine arrests.
The arrests of Irving Román “N”, Nicolás Sebastián “N”, Mayra Alejandra “N”, Raúl “N”, Edgar “N”, José Manuel “N”, Raúl Roberto “N”, Gabino “N” and Jorge Luis “N”, took place at four different addresses around the town of Tulum.
Each of the addresses were targeted for drug dealing and each of the eight men and one woman arrested were found in possession of various narcotics at the time of their arrests.
In their statement, the FGE reported, “as a result of the actions carried out by the Investigative Police, it is known that the detainees are related to a criminal group that operates in the state.”
