Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Three PDC police officers have been arrested for assault, robbery and abuse of authority. The three members of the Municipal Police were arrested on May 20 on allegations of abuse of authority against a civilian resident.
According to State Attorney General (FGE) Raciel López Salazar, the officers were arrested after the victim filed a complaint.
Municipal Police officers Mariano “N”, José del Carmen “N” and Carlos Enrique “N” are being investigated for assault, robbery and abuse of authority.
López Salazar reported the incident happened earlier this month when the officers arrived at the home of Alejandro “N” in Las Palmas.
Without providing details, he said all three officers were taken into custody on warrants and are being investigated for the allegations against them.

All three are facing charges of aggravated assault, aggravated robbery and abuse of authority.
