Tulum, Q.R. — The Municipal Treasurer says the municipality of Tulum will invest more than 200 million pesos in public projects this year. Vicente Francisco Aldape Moncada, Municipal Treasurer, says the key projects will include infrastructure and security improvements.

He says the budget will remain similar to that of the 2024 fiscal year, highlighting projects such as the construction of the Sports Complex south of the town of Tulum with an investment of more than 15 million pesos.
He says other projects on the 2025 list include equipment for the Control, Computing, and Command Center (C4) and the paving of streets in the first quadrant of the municipality.
“We will continue investing in priority infrastructure for the municipality. This year, we will invest more than 200 million pesos maintaining the pace of public works that citizens demand,” he explained.
According to Aldape Moncada, funds will be allocated to equip Civil Protection and Firefighters following instructions from Mayor Diego Castañón Trejo, as part of strengthening operational capabilities in emergencies.

He says these are all part of a comprehensive urban development, security and social welfare strategy to address the population’s primary needs and support Tulum’s rapid growth.
