Othón P Blanco, Q.R. — A man reported missing April 2 in the municipality of Othón P Blanco has been found dead. On Thursday, municipal police responded to the report of a body inside a parked car near the community of Sergio Butrón Casas.
The report was made by an area taxi driver who found the abandoned car with what appeared to be a bagged body inside.
Elements from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) were sent in to verify the finding while the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), Mexican Army and National Guard were brought in to assist with the crime scene.
On Friday, local authorities identified the deceased body inside the car as 43-year-old Hector “T” who was reported missing from Sergio Butrón Casas three days earlier. Police have not commented on the death or a possible motive.
