Tulum, Q.R. — A vendor who sold micheladas at a Tulum beach was shot to death in broad daylight. The shooting was witnessed by numerous Playa Punta Piedra beachgoers Sunday afternoon when men on a motorcycle arrived and opened fire.
The targeted hit left the michelada seller deceased behind the bar of his portable unit. Police responding to the report of the shooting in the Boca Paila area arrived to find the man had been shot in the head.
The area was cordoned off while police collected evidence to begin their investigation. Witnesses told police that the men fled immediately after taking aim at the vendor. There were no arrests.
