Tulum, Q.R. — Police in Tulum were called to the scene of a deadly shooting Monday night. A man was reported shot to death while inside a restaurant in the center of town.
Authorities were seen blocking off the area at Sagitario Street and Satélite Avenue near where the shooting took place. Initial reports indicated that someone had been shot at a car wash, however, police confirmed the shooting happened at an eatery.
People nearby are reported to have fled in panic at the sound of gunfire Monday night. Those responsible for the targeted shooting escaped before authorities arrived. Police have not identified the deceased.
