Man being investigated for possible relation to latest Tulum restaurant attack

Tulum, Q.R. — The Public Security Directorate of Tulum has announced the arrest of a man possibly related to the restaurant shooting Saturday night. The man, identified as 24-year-old David Manual N, was taken into police custody after the report of an armed man on a public road.

Police responding to the report located the armed man in the Mayapax area of Tulum. According to the Public Directorate, he was taken into custody near Centaura Avenue after authorities located 12 bags of cocaine and a loaded 9-millimegter pistol on his person.

According to authorities, he is being investigated for his possible relation to the Art Beach restaurant weekend shooting that left two dead and one injured.
