Tulum, Q.R. — In a press release, the FGE reports the arrest of Fausto G for the 2018 death of a Tulum hotel worker.
La Fiscalía General del Estado de Quintana Roo says the events occurred in May 2018 inside a lodging center in the municipality of Tulum. After coordinated efforts with Mexico City police, elements of the FGE were able to take Fausto G into custody for homicide.
After an extensive investigation, police were successful in obtaining an arrest warrant for Fausto G. Authorities say his arrest was carried out in coordination with investigative elements of the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office after evidence implicating the now detained in events that occurred in May 2018, in a hotel located along the Federal Highway, where the lifeless body of an employee of reserved identity was found stabbed to death.
