Inspectors suspend Tulum fast food joint for health violations

Tulum, Q.R. — A fast food eatery in Tulum has been temporarily suspended for failing to abide by the state’s mandatory covid health regulations. Inspectors from the Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks (Cofepris), placed suspension seals across the establishment’s fast food window.

On Thursday, inspectors proceeded to close the Burger King restaurant near Villas Tulum after staff were seen dispatching food without taking the proper hygiene measures.
