Inspectors shut and fine two Tulum establishments found serving after hours

Tulum, Q.R. — Two Tulum bars were shut over the weekend after they were found operating outside municipal hours. Both coastal area establishments were shut Saturday following an operation carried out by authorities from municipal inspection.

It was around 2 in the morning when inspectors found both businesses in flagrante delicto, which were operating outside the cut-off time of 1:00 a.m. for establishments located in the coastal area.

Therefore, personnel from the Inspection and Collection Department were in charge of closing the two bars and placing the corresponding seals. The closed bars are located at kilometer 6.5 and 7.0 of the Tulum Coastal Zone.

Both establishments have previous administration offences that lead to warnings, however, this time, inspectors fined both bars.
