Tulum, Q.R. — Four found with drugs and high powered weapons were taken into police custody after attempting to pass through a filter. Their arrests took place at the Tulum security filter along the federal highway after a review of their vehicle.
Elements of the Quintana Roo Tulum Police detained the three men and one woman after a vehicle inspection located an AK-47 and M4 Carbine with ammo. Police also found more than 300 street doses of drugs and cash.
Taken into custody, police report are Consuelo N, Andrés N, Francisco N and Luis N. Upon their detainment, police seized their car, guns, 17,060 peso in cash and drugs, which included 172 packages of marijuana and 130 of crystal meyth.
