Group of five detained in Tulum on drug, firearm and theft charges

Tulum, Q.R. — Five males were taken into police custody in Tulum Thursday on charges of drugs, weapons and vehicle theft. The State Attorney General’s Office reported on the arrests of Sergio “O”, Luis “P”, Cresencio “M”, Andrés “M” and José “H”.

The five men were arrested after being stopped by police in their vehicle and inspected. During the inspection, arresting officers located marijuana and various forms of cocaine along with a loaded gun and ammo.

When entering the data of the vehicle in which they were traveling, Mexico Platform flagged it as stolen in the state of Tabasco.
