Four from out-of-state found carrying loaded guns in Tulum

Tulum, Q.R. — Municipal police of Tulum secured four subjects and two firearms in the irregular neighborhood of 2 de Octubre after the four out-of-state men were stopped for a traffic violation.

During a surveillance and prevention tour, touring police reported observing a white Pointer in violation of traffic regulations. For this reason, the vehicle was stopped, however, police noticed those inside showed an evasive attitude.

When conducting a security review, police found two loaded firearms tucked between the front seats. The four inside, who police report were from the states of Chiapas and Tabasco, were arrested.

According to Tulum Public Security, three of the detained already have a criminal record.
