Tulum, Q.R. — Four alleged drug dealers were arrested Tuesday night in Tulum, the result of an inter-institutional operation in which SEDENA, SEMAR, the State Attorney General’s Office, State Police and the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection of Tulum participated.
The operation was lead by Lieutenant Ricardo Morales Santo, which resulted in the arrest of four and the seizure of narcotics, cell phones and loaded weapons.
The men were arrested on Mercurio Oriente Street after they were seen distributing drugs and then attempting to escape officers who mounted the large area operation.
According to police, the detainees are Francisco N, José N, Gerardo N and Ignacio N. They were arrested after being found in possession of marijuana, cocaine, thee loaded weapons and three magazines. Their cell phones and car were also seized.
