Tulum, Q.R. — Investigative police from the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Drug Dealing executed five search warrants in Tulum. The five properties were searched Wednesday night.
During the five property searches, police seized a variety of narcotics and arrested one person. The searches were carried out by personnel from the Quintana Roo FGE, Ministry of National Defense, Navy, National Guard and Ministry of Citizen Security.
The first search took place at a property located at kilometer 10 of the Tulum-Cobá highway where agents seized marijuana and arrested Felipe de Jesús “N.”
At a property located on Neptuno East Street between Centauro Sur and Orión Sur, police seized crystal meth, LSD and marijuana. A home located on Asteroide Street between Beta Sur and Osiris Sur was also searched resulting in the seizure of marijuana and cocaine.

A fourth property located on a dirt road in the Invasión 2 de Octubre neighborhood was searched. Officers seized LSD, crystal meth and marijuana. In the fifth search, a property located on Mercurio Poniente Street between Alfa Sur and Luna Poniente Streets was seized.
Agents seized a dried marijuana plant, crystal meth and a granular substance and gold-colored fragment (drug unknown).

All five properties were seized by the state and will remain under the custody of the Prosecutor’s Office. Detainee Felipe de Jesús “N” was brought before the Public Prosecutor’s Office for his alleged involvement in acts that may constitute drug dealing.
