Firemen use jaws of life in two-vehicle crash outside Tulum

Tulum, Q.R. — At least two people were taken to hospital after a two-truck accident outside Tulum. On Thursday morning, emergency personnel attended to injured people who were trapped inside the cabin of the pickup truck.

The two men were injured when the driver of the pickup slammed into the left back side of a trailer that was parked in the far right lane. The impact caused the cabin of the truck to be crushed inward, trapping two people inside.

Firemen were requested at the scene to free the men using the jaws of life. One of the two men was transported to hospital in serious condition.
