Tulum, Q.R. — The Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana of Quintana Roo says two people were arrested in Tulum for drug possession. The pair, Javier “N” and Consuelo “N”, were taken into police custody from Scorpion Street Tuesday.
They were seen handling bags of drugs near their scooter. When they saw police, they hid the drugs in their clothes and tried to flee on the bike, but were intercepted. A search revealed 13 bags of marijuana.
They were arrested, their drugs seized and their bike towed.
