Cancun, Q.R. — Two men and a woman were arrested by police in Cancun after being found with a stash of drugs and a gun.
The trio were taken into custody in SM 90 for the alleged sale of drugs after police found them carrying bags of marijuana, cocaine and a gun. The arrests were made during a surveillance tour in that area of the city.
Police say they noticed the two men on a motorcycle and lone female on the sidewalk who tried to evade them when spotted. A review of the backpacks they were carrying revealed the drugs, a .38 caliber weapon and ammunition.
All three were taken into custody, while the motorcycle, drugs, gun, ammo and three cell phones were seized as evidence.
