Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Paramedics confirmed the death of a motorcycle driver late Thursday night. The male driver was killed after colliding with a car.
The accident was reported on Arco Vial near Villamar I residential where the two vehicles slammed into one another.
Paramedics from PDC Civil Protection responded to the police request for medical assistance. At the scene, they found the driver of the motorcycle laying on the road. He had already died.
The driver of the car fled the scene before police arrived.
Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) cordoned off the area while the body and damaged vehicles were removed from the street.
Police continue their search for the driver of the car.
