Cerro del Pavo, Q.R. — A dozing driver caused his semi trailer to overturn on a section of Chetumal highway. Transit officials were called to the accident site near the Othon P. Blanco town of Cerro del Pavo Saturday morning.
The overturned semi was reported to emergency services by motorists traveling the highway west of the city of Chetumal. The oversized unit was left on its side blocking a lane of highway.
The driver was found with only minor injuries. Police directed traffic around the mishap until a tow truck was able to upright and remove it.
