Tulum, Q.R. — A cyclist was left for dead in a weekend hit and run on a southern highway. The body of the deceased man was located by motorists Saturday night who notified emergency officials.
Police arrived along the west-running 109 federal road in the municipality of Tulum where they found the body of an adult male face down near-center of the highway. His bicycle was a few meters ahead of him also laying on the road.
It is believed he was heading in the direction of Tulum when he was stuck by a vehicle and left for dead.
