Tulum, Q.R. — A wrapped body was found early Sunday morning near the coastal area of Tulum. The unidentified body was found wrapped in tape and left laying on a road next to a large handwritten message.
The message was written on cloth and found taped to the street. The message read “CHILANGOS AND PELONES WHO ARE EXTORTING AND KILLING FOREIGNERS IN THE COASTAL AREA AS WELL AS FOR (name removed) AND (name removed) OF THE FGE, CORRUPT AGENT WHO RECEIVE PAYROLL FROM THE PELONES TO HIT THEM IN THE HOMICIDES, DISAPPEARED PERSONS AND DRUG SALES IN THE COASTAL AREA, JUST AS THEY RECEIVED 5 MDP FOR THE RELEASE OF DOBER.”
According to a police report, the body was found on Kukulkan Avenue early Sunday, however, due to heavy rains, police were unable to respond to the report until around 4:00 a.m.
At the scene, they found the fully wrapped body of an adult in tape and the message that was intentionally left behind by those responsible.
