Tulum, Q.R. — The body of a young Russian woman was removed from inside a Tulum hotel Thursday after being found dead. Her body was found inside the room at 2:34 p.m. It is not clear who found the body.
According to information obtained, medical personnel were requested by responding officers, however, she was pronounced dead on scene. She is reported to have had face, arm and leg injuries consistent with a physical assault.
There are unconfirmed reports that her boyfriend has been arrested. Local authorities have not provided official public information regarding the death. The woman was approximately 26 years old.
