Tulum, Q.R. — Forensic Medical personnel of Tulum removed the body of a man from a beach area on Thursday. The body was transferred to the medical examiner after it was found washed up on shore.
It was around 8:30 a.m. when the report of the body was made to authorities by a passerby. The unidentified male was reported missing the evening before. His body was discovered off a beach area of the Tulum National Park.
The man was seen swimming in the sea the night before. He was reported missing after he failed to return. His body was found the next morning washed up in the sand. Police did not provide additional details surrounding the incident, nor did they identify the deceased.
