Tulum, Q.R. — Municipal police in Tulum responded to a call Friday after a young American man was found dead. The 26-year-old was found deceased by his friends inside a condominium.
The discovery of his body was made inside an apartment unit of condos located on the corner of Mercurio and Saturno Streets in Tulum. Emergency 911 services were called when they found him unresponsive.
Police and medical personnel arrived to find the man, identified as 26-year-old Walter N, dead. Reports say the young man may have died of heart complications, however, an official autopsy will determine his cause of death.
It is not known if he was an area visitor or resident.
