Tulum, Q.R. — Investigative Police accompanied by agents of the National Guard and the Mexican Army carried out an operation in the vicinity of the RosaNegra Tulum restaurant.
Agents reportedly detonated their weapons during the operation and arrested several people while seizing drugs and weapons.
The Prosecutor’s Office has not yet provided official details, but late Sunday night posted that they “carried out an operation against drug dealers in TULUM. There are several detainees, drugs and weapons.”
The operation came one week after a security guard and a taxi driver were shot to death at the same restaurant.
