Tulum, Q.R. — Two men have been detained near the entrance to the archaeological area of Tulum after police found them armed and in possession of drugs. The pair, identified as 20-year-old Luis N from Veracruz and 31-year-old William N from Tabasco, were taken into police custody with a loaded 38 and 250 grams of marijuana.
They were arrested when police noticed they took on an evasive attitude at their presence. When approaching the men, the pair took off on foot. They were intercepted, inspected and arrested. Police say both men resided in Cancun.
