Tulum, Q.R. — An Argentinian tourist who was reported missing in Tulum has been found. The 33-year-old man was reported missing January 25 by friends from his travel group.
The small group were staying in a Tulum hotel during their vacation. His friends reported him missing after they say, he simply disappeared from the hotel lobby and was not in his room the next day.
After reporting him missing, a woman located him on a Tulum street. He appeared shirtless and disorientated. Upon questioning him via a video, he was able to provide his mother’s name and his own full name.
Authorities have since taken over the case to try and determine how he became separated from his hotel and how he ended up on Tulum streets for nearly three days.
