Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A suspect has been arrested in the July murder of a Playa del Carmen woman. Javier “T” will stand trial for the murder of a woman who was found stabbed to death last week.
Police were called to the home in the west community of In House after residents reported the incident. When police arrived, they found the women dead inside the house and the man standing over her body.
According to the FGE, on the night of the murder, “Javier “T” became aggressive and, as on other occasions, hit and insulted the woman for which she asked him to leave. He became annoyed and attacked her with a knife.” She was found dead at the scene.
At the time of the report, area residents said the man was walking the streets saying he had killed his wife, which is when they called police.
