Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Another bag of human remains was located Tuesday outside a residential community of Playa del Carmen. Police were requested at La Joya in south Playa del Carmen after the a bag was located in the middle of a road.
Three bags were left on the median strip of a public road in broad daylight. Police received an anonymous report around 11:00 a.m. by a witness who reported that suspicious bags had been left on the central median of 115 Sur Avenue.
Police verified three bags dumped in front of the La Joya roundabout contained the human remains of an adult male. Municipal and State Police officers were at the scene waiting for personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office.
On Monday, the bagged body of a woman was found in the Gonzalo Guerrero neighborhood of central Playa del Carmen.
