Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Emmanuel “L” has been arrested in the Villamar Uno subdivision of Playa del Carmen. He was picked up by Solidaridad police Wednesday for his involvement in the murder of four people.
The murders happened in January of this year in La Guadalupana in the city’s northwest. According to a statement by the State Attorney General’s Office, he was picked up on an arrest warrant for holding a getaway taxi outside the home while the murders were taking place.
Emmanuel “L” has been transferred to the Municipal Retention Center of Solidaridad.
According to the FGE, the murders “occurred on January 19 of this year, when he accompanied two subjects who entered a house located in La Guadalupana subdivision where they shot at four people who were deprived of their lives while Emmanuel “L” was waiting for them outside in a taxi in which they fled.”
On January 19, 2023, a late night shooting that was believed to be drug related left four dead. One man and three women, all of the same family, were shot to death inside their home in La Guadalupana.
