Matamoros, Tamaulipas — A couple of newlyweds who were processing their visa at the U.S. Consulate in Tamaulipas, have been arrested. Karina “B” and Alex “C” were arrested by Nacional Elements of the Tamaulipas State Attorney General’s Office for using false documents.
The Yucatan couple were attempting to process their visa before the Consulate General of the United States using a fake marriage certificate. The arrest occurred at the Consulate General of the United States when the couple was carrying out the procedure.
