Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — With more than 20 kilos of marijuana, an 18-year-old man identified as Carlos N, originally from Yucatan, was arrested in Playa del Carmen.
The 2:00 p.m. arrest took place at a central bus terminal as he arrived from Villahermosa, Tabasco. Roca, one of the city’s narcotics dogs, quickly detected the drugs being transported in young man’s luggage. An inspection revealed 23 packages of marijuana, which police noted, totaled 20 kilos.
The detainee, along with the marijuana, was placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
