Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — A woman has been transferred to Chetumal prison and her home labeled narcomenudeo after a search revealed drugs.
The State Attorney General’s Office reports that Investigative Police detained a person and seized several illicit substances derived from a search carried out on Friday night at a home located in the Emiliano Zapata 2 neighborhood in the town of Felipe Carrillo Puerto.
A person identified as Leysli R was arrested and transferred to Chetumal, where she was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for drug-related crimes.
Their search of the home was part of a judicial court order related to another investigation. The home remains under police guard.
