Woman reported for car break-in captured on security video

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Police who were called by a man reporting car breaks ins were able to arrest those alleged responsible. On Thursday, officers responded to the report of two women breaking into a parked car using a screwdriver.

The man, who was the manager of the business where the cars were parked, detailed the incident to police adding that the pair left the scene in their own blue Chevy vehicle. Using security footage from the Playa del Carmen business, police tracked down the women in the vehicle captured on the store’s video.

A search of their vehicle located a pair of stolen baby car seats and the screwdriver mentioned by the business manager. Arrested was 30-year-old Bibiana N from Colima and 29-year-old Itzel N from Veracruz.
