Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A woman found in possession of cocaine was jailed from the Real Ibiza residential subdivision of Playa del Carmen. Her arrest was made on Sunday afternoon after she failed to comply when police requested she pull over her vehicle.
Rather than stop, she accelerated with the intention of ditching the officers. She was chased and intercepted along CTM where she was finally stopped between Lilis AVenue and Flor de Ciruelo.
During a search, police found more than 100 bags of narcotics that included LSD, marijuana and cocaine. The woman, identified as 25-year-old Thalia N was taken into police custody.
