Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A woman has been arrested in Playa del Carmen on allegations of murder. Rosalia “N” was taken into police custody Saturday on an outstanding arrest warrant for her involvement in the 2022 murder of man.
According to a State Attorney General (FGE) statement, “Investigative Police completed an arrest warrant against Rosalía “N” for her probable participation in events that could constitute the crime of homicide to the detriment of a male victim of reserved identity.
“On November 19, 2022, the detainee, in the company of two other people who were in the bathroom of a bar, probably with a type of knife, committed the crime to the detriment of the deceased.”
The FGE reports a male witness to the murder of the man in the Playa del Carmen bathroom bar who, they report, was also threatened by the now-detained Rosalia “N”.
Over the weekend, Rosalia “N” was captured the Villamar Uno subdivision and entered into the Social Reintegration Center of Cancun.
