Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man who worked for a local water distribution company died on a street in Playa del Carmen Thursday. The incident happened in the Misión de las Flores subdivision of the city during the morning.
Witnesses said that the water delivery man was carrying a garrafon of water when he said he suddenly didn’t feel well. Within minutes he fell short of breath and collapsed, losing consciousness.
Neighbors called 911, who sent am ambulance, however, responding paramedics arrived to find a weak pulse. An attempt to revive him, failed. He was pronounced on scene. He is believed to have died of a heart attack, however, an autopsy is underway to determine the exact cause of death. His age and name were not released.
