Used car salesman arrested from Playa del Carmen parking lot for using false documents

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A used car salesman in Playa del Carmen has been detained for using false documents. On Friday, the SSP (Seguridad Pública Solidaridad) of Solidaridad reported on the arrest of Balam “N” from Mexico City.

Police arrested the man from a shopping plaza parking lot on Paseo Central and Chemuyil Avenues after he was accused of selling a used car from the parking lot with fake documents. The 35-year-old was handcuffed by police from the Secretariat of Public Security and Municipal Transit for using false documents to sell vehicles.

During his arrest, police located two pieces of federal identification on his person, both with the same photo but different names. He was also found in possession of two vehicle invoices, one for a Chevrolet Cavalier and the other, a Rio Kia. The man and his fake documents were made available to the FGE of Quintana Roo.
